Food Donation During COVID-19 at Koh Prak
Cambodia reported its ﬁrst conﬁrmed case of COVID-19 on 27 January 2020 until 04 May 2021 there are 16,299 conﬁrmed cases and 107 conﬁrmed death. While the number of conﬁrmed COVID-19 cases is still relatively high day by day, the impact of Covid-19 on children and families is already quite pronounced. It’s clear that COVID-19 could undo the progress made in children’s health, education food, and family livelihoods across the country.
On 04 May 2021, During COVID-19 Lockdown. The Volunteer Team of Cambodian Charity Organization had brought some food to donate to poor families at Koh Prak Kandal Province about 50 families living on the boat, each family received a donation like Rice 20-30kg and other ingredients to support them.
Meanwhile, Cambodian Charity Organization have high modern Water purification products for poor families in rural slam also, this kind of product can help a lot of poverty families in Cambodia. and help the government of rural development. We are looking for donation support for our project.
